This is ridiculously close-minded. Your definition of legitimate collaboration involves people already being able to find you and requesting to work
Is that what you plan on telling people who don’t have networks or are building experience? That they need to create applications on their websites and are not allowed to reach out to models?

That doesn't change any of the above. This guy being weird (and he is indeed weird) does not mean that other people should not be allowed to use social network to find models to work with. This girl did the right thing by following her gut and getting more details.
I didnt say that neither implied that people should not reach out via Social...I'm just saying that the way they went about it was wrong and she did the right thing everyone else saying she didn't is justifying her not follow gut feelings.
