Kevin Durant has been heavily criticized for his lack of success outside Golden State. If he leads the Suns to the championship, does he remove the dark cloud of “can’t win without a superteam” over his head?

This is assuming that one believes the 23/24 Phoenix Suns are not a “Superteam”.

Thanks!

If they win, they are a superteam, if they don't win, it's KD's fault for losing with a superteam. As of now in preseason analysis, Suns are clearly unbalanced and deeply flawed, not a superteam.

That about covers it

I mean I love shitting on KD as much as everyone else but barring a huge step back from the prior season, I'd put more weight on the Suns not chipping due to having a turnstile at center and a PG by committee

Also even after turning Ayton in to depth pieces, the Suns are still questionably shallow
