Would probably still stay up considering how bad the bottom 3 are but what a kick in the teeth for Everton when you compare it to the situation with City. Absolute joke.

They've already got away with massively over exaggerating Covid losses, and selling the naming rights to their (at the time) non existent stadium for a huge sum. This charge might be a technicality but they've been absolutely skating close to the edge of what is morally or legally allowed for years now.

We didn't sell the naming rights, we sold the right to be the first option. Basically right of first refusal.

Nah Everton are pretty bad this season too a -12 would be horrendous

That if it happens though which I doubt it will judging by what the article actually says

This would put them 10 points away from safety as it stands now. I have no idea why you are so sure they’ll be able to overcome that.
