A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Before anyone judges me, yes I am a dumb 19 year old who has watched too much Andrew Tate and all the other self improvement gurus talk about being rich. This has lead me down to a very confusing hole.

Anyhow, can you actually make Millions off a photography business? If so how?

I have 4 years of experience and now I am on the search for a photography job for the time being.

I for the most part have been using photography as a tool to make connections with wealthy people. I want to own nice cars, so what do I do? I go up to people who have them and ask for a photo shoot so that they have a reason to talk to me.

This genuinely can ever get me so far. But man its been confusing me for a while.

As I am still learning and I just started to do this connections thing I am wondering if anyone here has a similar problem to me? 😅

A few things -stop listening to Andrew Tate.

  • there’s loads of ways to make money, photography is probably on the list of hardest way to make a lot of money.

Just knowing rich people will not make you rich unless you get a sugar momma or daddy. You’re better off going to college for something like business or finance and working on wall street or something similar. Unless you have the luck and talent of Annie Leibowitz you’re not going to make very many millions.
