How do you know when someone is coming over uninvited?

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 86 points 1 month ago

-a person terrified of butterflies

-covered themselves in fruit juice??

-sat outside when the uninvited guest was coming over

-became the butterfly god

I've seen more believable stories in green text. The only reasonable part is planting milkweed

Probably texted saying “I’m coming over”, OP replied “No” or perhaps “Fuck off” and then they show up anyway

[–] fullsquare@awful.systems 32 points 1 month ago

some common friend spilled the tea in advance perhaps

When they text you "I'm on my way" and ignore your: please don'ts

That’s when you hurriedly plant milkweed and force the monarchs to begin their migration immediately from your backyard, while you bathe in fruit juice.

"they wouldn't stop showing up" so person planted milkweed to gather butterflies for the inevitable fruit juice bath storm.

Not everyone remembers to turn off "share my location with Instagram friends".

People share their location to Zuckerberg?
