At this point Jokic #1 Embiid #2 is just nature healing. Not even Sixers fans are delusional enough to argue against Jokic anymore
but I mean, it would depend on how the rest of the year plays out. I'm sure jokic is young to have a phenomenal year, but are we just going to give it to him no matter what? let's just give it to him now then so we don't have to argue about it for the rest of the season
Current Jokic over a full season has a completely legit argument as the highest offensive peak of all time. If his current numbers hold up and Denver finishes top 2, I don’t see how you can give it to anyone else.
Nah, lets just give it to Embiid, despite having every significant stat on Jokic side, just because he won it already twice in a row. Honestly some of the dumbest shit I've heard, just to justift the robbery.
Anyone can win but Embiid. We keeping the same "he hasn't done it in the playoffs" energy that we had for Jokic last year for Embiid.
Eh, I think that Embiid winning one of the last 3 MVPs is perfectly representative of how things went. I don't expect him to win again this year, but that doesn't make it undeserved that he won once (it's not the "who's the best player in the league" award, and I also find it nice to spread around the winner)
I don’t think they were delusional last year either. It was just such a close race that obviously they’re going to side with their guy.
Sixers fans are plenty delusional. Last week I had one tell me they should trade away Embiid and build around Maxey.
