Curry only guy over 30 in the top 10. New era of basketball is here.

[–] jawadhaque089@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I don't understand how he's not in the top 5

Embiid should be number 1

[–] flips89@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why are only 4 MVP candidates listed?

[–] jawntothefuture@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

pretty standard tbh

[–] honestnbafan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Makes sense

You have Embiid averaging 32/11/6 on 63% TS and Jokic averaging 29/13/8 on 68% TS with Denver having the best record in the league and Philly the second best

Love to see Ant and Haliburton coming up in the Top 10. Feels like those two are going to be side-by-side on these lists for a long time

mvp talks not even 10% into the season 😱

I’ll always remember Montrezl Harrel being like #6 on one of the early november MVP ladders a few years ago

I don't see why Jokic is over Embiid

[–] Savahoodie@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (18 children)

Please no more. God, I’m not your strongest soldier, stop making me fight these battles

[–] schwagggg@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

seeing jo get it again and then flop in the playoffs would be so memey

[–] Goatsanity15@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I agree.

The discourse would be too draining so lets just give it to World Champion and reigning World Cup MVP Dennis Schroeder

Embiid putting up better numbers and sitting on top of the east; he actually has a better argument for MVP this year than last

[–] Charming-Pie2113@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How is he putting better numbers lol.

[–] The_Outlaw_Star@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jokic is better than Embiid. His teams atop the West and he’s almost averaging a triple double on higher TS%. Embiid is not on his level.

Jokic is the MVP

[–] mnight84@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Not another year of the toxic ass jokic vs embiid MVP race again, it made me despise all basketball fans and the game itself! I am a jokic fan but I like good basketball and the jokic vs embiid conversation brings out the worst in people!

SGA gonna aura his way into a few kia mvp ladder appearances too huh. shameful

[–] HItide69@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

All I know is I enjoy watching jokic over flopping all over the place embiid, your one of the biggest players in the league stop falling to the ground big dummeh

[–] zpoz18@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did a kia representative write this

[–] januarycanyou@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

how are the rankings calculated?

[–] When_Angels_Cry@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

It's really amazing that Embiid and Jokic have dominated for the last 4 seasons in MVP voting. 2 of the best big men I've come to watch personally. Greatness!

Is this from 2022? Literally the same people in order

[–] FactCheckingThings@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

"The Next Five:

  1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
  2. Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves
  3. Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers
  4. Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers
  5. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks

And five more (listed alphabetically): Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors; Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers; Kevin Durant, Phoenix Suns; Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks; Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers."

Scottie got mentioned in an MVP article. Vindication!

Also shout out to Maxey being there. The Clorox Clutch duo still racking up Ws.

I'm a big SGA fan obviously, but he is too high here, he had probably the worst game of his career as well as a couple mediocre ones in this 8 game span.

I like that they gave Luka credit for playing good defense this year. He deserves the recognition for improving every year.

[–] SandyMandy17@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

SGA top 10 yet or?

Just making sure

[–] SEJ46@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No love for Curry?

[–] sherekahn5@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A tale as old as time..

[–] Novel_Board_6813@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

These guys are pretty good at basketball

[–] YetAnotherFaceless@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’m going to have to wait to learn what the all-time worst player has to say about this before I come to a decision.

Steph outside of top 5 is crazy , he's definitely over Shai atm

[–] TTPMGP@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This just in, the best basketball players are still the best basketball players. More at 11.

Do we really wanna do another year of this

[–] nixium@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Can we not do this so early. Can we at least wait for half the season to be over?
