It's funny that you mention Luka along with these dudes, because it feels like he's been at least Top 10 for a few years now.

Scottie who? Pippen jr??

You think Paolo and Scottie are going to be side by side on MVP lists for multiple years?

With all sports, competition/skill gets better and better over the years.

Remind Coach Pop. They need to go ALL IN with Wemby ASAP.

The rebuild around Ja in Memphis already feels "old" (and this is already Jaren Jackson, Jr.'s 6th season). Same with Zion in New Orleans and Trae in Atlanta -- IF they don't become legit contenders soon -- maybe they will have to re-rebuild.

You forgot the Knicks! Mitch Rob/RJ are playing great. If Brunson gets going they are kind of a young/new/upstart team, too.

I swear Im not dumping on the Celtics with this but the names you mentioned are why I dont think Tatum ever gets an MVP. His windowe to get one is really small because of Jokic and then Doncic right behind him and then all those guys in the next few years

I think that’s a fair point, but at the risk of sounding like a broken record I don’t think that people realize how young Tatum is because he’s been performing at a very high level for almost 3-4 years now. He’s the same age as Luka and Shai, and only 2 years older than Tyrese yet I feel as though those guys (maybe not with Luka as much) are still labeled as young and up and coming while the perception is that Tatum doesn’t have a lot of potential anymore. I think there’s a decent chance that those young guys take a few years from ages 22-25 ironing out the small flaws in their games (similar to how Tatum did) before they contend for MVPs from ages 26-31, and Tatum will likely have a decent shot then
