It may not come out the canal, but the vagina is an all encompassing term.
Maybe they meant vulva when they said "pussy." Colloquialisms, especially older ones, are not known for their anatomical accuracy.
Maybe but a lot of people seem to think urine comes out of the vagina. Which I like to correct when I can. Because it's too many people who think that.
I blame the education system.
Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina.
We also have a clitoris and urethra that are not attached to the vagina.
Male and female genitals are not a 1 to 1 comparison.
Males have their clitoris and urethra on the penis.
A vagina is the canal where babies come out. It's not the same as an inverted penis.
