With the rise of AI, how are you protecting your images? Especially if AI can just remove your watermark? (alien.top)

Just a random thought for the morning.

Watermarks used to be the way to go, to stop people from just taking your images and using them however they want. They’re also used to send sample images and then ask for payment.

With AI advancing, it’s very likely going to get easier for the layperson to click a button and have AI remove your watermark.

How do you plan to safeguard against this?

Removing watermarks was really easy long before AI. So you either make the watermark so obtrusive that it ruins the photo or it doesn’t and is easily removed. What is new is that somebody can train an AI on your body of work and not just steal your photos but generate more in your district style if you got one.

Ultimate posting online means somebody can take it. Don’t want that? Don’t post online.
