Removing watermarks was really easy long before AI. So you either make the watermark so obtrusive that it ruins the photo or it doesn’t and is easily removed. What is new is that somebody can train an AI on your body of work and not just steal your photos but generate more in your district style if you got one.

Ultimate posting online means somebody can take it. Don’t want that? Don’t post online.

This. How do you expect people to respect you and your business if you have so little self respect taking a insulting job like this.

You think you will generate leads or something from his holiday Instagram photos?

What are you trying to gain here by having him credit the photos is what you should ask yourself. I'd say nothing. It's just some vacation pics, let them post. All you can do is wreck your friendship. When me and my friends share vacation photos it's generally accepted that they can use them as they wish.

I'd put your energy into something you can actually gain from as professional photographer.

If she sold 100-200 curated photos to clients, hasn't she already done that rating? I presume those are already the 5* images.

I have yet to see an AI tool that can cull photos automatically. But more important, an ML model cannot rate an image, thats personal after all.

It could detect the subject, or group things based on what it thinks it is. But can't decide if image A or image B is better.
