Overview:

Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Is it even possible to put 3000 horsepower from the tires to the ground?
Anyways I suppose 3000 should be enough for most. 😋

Cars with big numbers aren’t really about performance, they’re about being performative. They’re entries in a dick-measuring contest.

Aren't the jet or w/e powered dragsters about that much? Or was it 2k I don't quite recall. Either way, I suppose yes you can, but it will cost you your tires everytime you do, and possibly pants and underwear.

A drag racer has a lot of equipment to help it keep the tires on the ground, like the rig behind the wheels that prevent it from simply making a somersault ending on the back. they also preheat the tires, to make the rubber like glue, and they have giant tires.

This car has none of that, they are lucky if they can put 1000 HP to the asphalt on that car.

And the asphalt is coated and sticky.

But this is not about that. It's about having the bigger number.

It's a question of bragging rights, not physics.

This is an electric car so presumably the power is being delivered by all 4 wheels, not just the back 2

Yes, that would add a little bit, but not much, as the car accelerates ir relieves pressure on the front wheels, so it only ads a couple hundred horsepower at most to use the front wheels too.
