What did you think ml stands for?
Yeah I didn't realize it when I signed up. I just picked a random one cuz I heard it didn't really matter which instance you pick. I just wanted to get off reddit.
Same. Got lucky and chose .world so not nearly as bad, but still ended up making a new account.
The only reason I wouldn't go with world is because everyone goes with world and effectively centralising a federated service seems counterproductive.
Makes sense to me.
I'm hoping to one day soon start my own instance, so I'll hold off on further instancehopping for now. piefed.social seems good enough so far
