Someone should introduce her to caffeinated gum.
Miles and Julian were impressed with gum by itself. Imagine Janeway's face when she is introduced to it. I bet Katy would set up a transporter cycle to swap out her gum on the regular just to keep the caffeine flowing in.

I guess it depends on what’s in the gum. Otherwise it’s an oral fixation.
She should try some of O’Brien’s scotch gum.
Speaking from experience, you may as well just take pure caffeine pills. But the more you strip away the ritual and nonfunctional aspects, the less Trek-friendly it is. They just don't do performance enhancing drugs, it goes against their ethos.
