Yes I know his legacy is more than cemented but nobody should be immune to criticism, you cant tell me even if he goes 0-82 he should still be considered a top tier coach. Just like players can be past their prime so could a coach. He hasn’t really done much since Kawhi left the team, the Derozan/Aldridge team didn’t achieve much, and as much as we are still in a ‘development’ and experiment stage for Wemby, this can’t realistically be the best case you’d expect. At what pt do we say “Maybe he isn’t the best coach for this team” or “Another coach could get more wins than him with same roster”?

Winning regular season games doesn’t make you a good coach automatically. Development and playoff performance is a major part of it. It’s why pop is glazed so much. Is bellechick a shit coach cause the patriots are 2-8 rn?
