This is actually a great example of how the majority of 'gender affirming care' is actually for a person who is already assigned at birth the gender they are affirming.

This male, who was assigned male at birth, is seeking gender affirming care to become... more male.

And women who get breast implants after receiving a double mastectomy are simply restoring their body back to what it was, neither affirming or changing but rather 'restoring' the appearance. The category of operations received is still called gender affirming.

Anything that is manipulating the body more in line with the perceived gender is called gender affirming care.

And it doesn't even need to be surgeries. Men with low T receiving testosterone shots is a form of gender affirming care.

It's still under the umbrella of gender affirming care, as are men getting breast reduction surgery or hair replacement. If you're implying it needs to be for sex, then I don't think you understand gender very well.
