This just in: Worst Vice Presidential pick in human history continues to back Russian-owned Holocaust-denying millionaire lackey. More at eleven.

Did this Cooper guy honestly use the phrase “Jewish question”? That’s not even a dog whistle, it’s a fucking bullhorn

[–] RootBeerGuy@discuss.tchncs.de 16 points 2 months ago

Well, at least he didn't talk about a final solution... Or did he?

[–] SeaJ@lemm.ee 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He also made a joke where the guys that Kyle Rittenhouse killed are in hell looking for Hitler but people in hell had to inform them that Hitler was not in hell.

Sounds like someone’s overdue to eat a brick

“You know, Germany, look, they put themselves into a position in Adolf Hitler’s chiefly responsible for this, but his whole regime is responsible for it, that when they went into the east in 1941, they launched a war where they were completely unprepared to deal with the millions and millions of prisoners of war, of local political prisoners, and so forth that they were going to have to handle,” Holocaust,”  asserted Cooper. “They went in with no plan for that and they just threw these people into camps. And millions of people ended up dead there.”

They just ended up dead at the local campground. It's really sad guys. Germany was as shocked as you. It's mostly Adolf's fault... Germany was really overwhelmed with the campground-filling war; ignoring her horrified friends while she shoves a few annoying space-taking Jews in the special Happy Happy joy time shower.

They cut the quote too soon. He actually argued that mass killing was more humane as the alternative was starvation, because try as they might, the poor Nazis weren't able to feed their prisoners. So they decided to mercy-gas them instead.

Damn that sucks! Too bad they couldn't just release them into the wild. But they probably would try and live in our society again. Very tough. Tough call. /s

Terrible shit, man

Coming soon is the defense that is all Russia is doing in Ukraine.

The poor Russians just weren't equipped to deal with the consequences of a war they started, just like poor Germany. /s

JD Vance Stands By Tucker Carlson Amid Hitler Controversy

Wow, a deeply weird and unpleasant person agreed with another deeply weird and unpleasant person over a situation that might conceivably be deeply weird and unpleasant.

While your ö is weird, I can see where you were going with that.

I grabbed it from here

PBS www.pbs.org Hermann Göring (1893-1946) | American Experience

[–] grue@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Somehow, you ended up with a ő instead of an ö.

[–] SeaJ@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

That's how it is spelled though...

[–] mark3748@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

No, it’s spelled with an ö, not an ő. They aren’t even from the same language. The double accent is Hungarian.

[–] SeaJ@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I must have seen it after they edited it because it is definitely an ö for me.

[–] exu@feditown.com 5 points 2 months ago

I still see ő (with dashes), guess for some reason your combination of OS, program and fonts makes that Unicode look different

[–] EABOD25@lemm.ee 15 points 2 months ago

Birds of a feather

[–] Keeponstalin@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

What a surprise, fascists and white supremacists agree with Holocaust revisionism lol

"If those kids could read, they'd be very upset." But Trump voters can't and don't read so...
