"just bring your mouse, keyboard and screen! And power supply!"

That HDMI port sticking out looks so sturdy and practical, like a gigantic usb-key you have to stick in a little hole on the backside of the screen, very user friendly, wont beeak off at all or the whole thing just fall down lol.

I am considering one of these as a substitute for my laptop. I have a proper setup at home and at my coworking space, with big displays keyboard and a mouse. The laptop is only carried around because of the CPU and disk.

If I find one of these with good specs, it could replace even my HTPC, because the same "brain" could be used everywhere.

A free HDMI port on a television, monitor screen, or desktop or laptop PC.

Really? Even it it did works on a desktop or laptop hdmi port, why?

Based on Intel's product page these are all discontinued. Just like their NUCs.

I hope they keep trying new form factors. Maybe one will actually stick. (See what I did there?)
