Found a 2 year old interview with her on Youtube, and the comments are filled with fascist-sympathizers who are desperately trying to claim that what Space Karen did wasn't what it obviously was, a nazi salute. Anyone with eyes could see that.

CBS is weaksauce, I hope Sam Kuffel finds a new, better job soon!

[–] lennybird@lemmy.world 17 points 5 hours ago

To add, I'll just remind folks that the former CBS CEO was caught on audio saying after Trump won in 2016, "Trump may not be good for America, but he's good for CBS! Keep going, Donald!"

They all feel this way.

Do you know who else uses that salute?

spoilerNO ONE! THAT WAS A TRICK QUESTION! ONLY NAZIS USE THAT SALUTE!

Enough with the fucking gaslighting. skum is a nazi piece of shit.

[–] refurbishedrefurbisher@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Actually, IIRC Mussolini also used that salute

[–] MummifiedClient5000@feddit.dk 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I guess that makes it OK then.

Exactly. I'm glad you can agree on this point with a very obviously not sarcastic comment, as Mussolini wasn't in fact, a Nazi, but just allied with the Nazis, had a very similar idiology that the Nazis took ideas from, and was also a fascist dictator.

And American kids reciting the pledge of allegience before we entered ww2

I mean, America probably would have ended up allying with the Nazis if it wasn't for the attack on Pearl Harbor. There was a lot of public sympathy for them here, including protests against joining the allies, and we even had a Nazi party before the war. We also turned away Jewish refugees during the war.

We also threw 200,000 of our own citizens into concentration camps

[–] in4apenny@lemmy.dbzer0.com 23 points 9 hours ago

We all know whats to be done about Nazis. Question is who is brave enough?
