I’d love another “veteran leader”/locker room guy like Blake Griffin. I’d be happy to overpay him for a year to basically be a player-coach.
Myles Turner or Jalen Suggs. A good POA defender or a stretch big with good defense would make the Lakers so much better

Everyone here is crazy. Aaron Gordon is the single best role player in the league right now. He can dunk, he can shoot the three, he can guard just about anyone, and hes humble and willing to hang back to keep defenders honest.
He’s never been that great without Jokic though. Not sure he’s still the “best” role player without that type playmaking and gravity
You mean a guy asked to carry offense and playmake, then switched to a team that required a totally different skillset, so he adapted...and because he wasnt good enough at the other stuff he doesnt need to do now he is overrated?
If he had elite playmaking and gravity he wouldnt be a role player
Aaron Gordon is amazing. I dont know if I would consider him a roleplayer he was almost an allstar last season and all defense level. If you consider Aaron Gordon a roleplayer though there are some other players who would be up there like Wiggins and OG.
Idk tho always saw "roleplayers" as guys who were the 4th/5th starter or top tier bench guys. I see guys at Gordons level as core pieces.
I consider him a role player because he seldom has first touch and he rarely sets up plays yet still plays the perimeter unlike a scoring center.
Interesting we define roleplayers differently thats fine.
Gordon's amazing though he really is perfect with Jokic. I like to think of players perfect duo and when I think of Jokic I dont think of a gaurd but id really want a guy like Gordon whos awesome at defending anyone. I think Kg would be an awesome all time guy who is perfect for Jokic. Hed play gordons role on crack

Derrick White would be pretty sweet but more “realistically” Malik Monk, who we totally should’ve made the number 1 priority at the SG spot over T-Ro and Bouknight, we’ll never have him back, and I was on that train at the time, just another casual hornets failure
