No offences, but with the price of Moondrop Dark Saber, you can get a Sennheiser IE600 instead...Wonder why Dark saber at the first place???

sure because sennheiser iems dont have qc issues lol
Cuz that's mad v-shaped?
This does not look good for moondrop!
Ah yes the APOS Audio special. They know the stock that sell.
Most literally a demo unit that has loose stuff and they stopped that to you...
Unfortunate behaviour which is characteristic of APOS.
As for Moondrop, they should wake up
Sad to see the Dark Saber got the Empire Raven treatment. I hope you can solve this without having to pay a huge chunk like that
What’s happening with the raven?
extra thin shell lead to weak and brittle, mostly will break the whole shell if you try to pull out the 2pin cable. Jack Vang of Empire ear is doing a recall for the Raven.
How is this not covered under warranty?
Yeah this has been a known problem. Actually shameful that they didn't give you a full refund, it's purely the build quality fault of the Dark Sabre.
Let's up this post, they should give him a full refund. I hope moondrop sees it.
Their customer service saw this already and made their decision (based on internal guidelines they've created) regardless. Let's not pretend Moondrop is innocent.
If a respectable company sees this post, it should refund, these are IEMs which have negligible production costs, the damage to the image is much more serious
If a respectable company sees this post, it should refund
which moondrop is not. take your pink glasses off
chifi will nvr have good qc
Hahhaa kz...
God damn. My s8 is filled with resin to the top.
So sorry that happened to you, let this be a reminder for others not to buy their products if you going after a good quality product.
Moondrop ignores any qc complaints, no redesigns and still using the brittle resins. I'm surprised they even delayed their headphone that one time.
This is exactly why I don't buy expensive iems, it's way better for the heart when 100$ piece dies than an 800$ one.
Have a handful of moondrops working fine, but I 've heard too many stories. Every release in the last year had qc problems.
Damn this is new, I thought it was KZ exclusive features..
classic moondrop qc, quality and customer support. how ppl buy their garbage is beyond me
I think APOS assumed automatically that you'd broken it, rather than it was a fault. Crazy as that may sound, you'd be surprised how many customers of every company around in every industry break their gear and insist on a warranty repair for something that was their fault.
I hate to say it but that fail does not look like the description or at least the plug was removed with a simple yank instead of slowly wiggled as it should. Not saying that's the case but I do understand why the sellers have some doubt. It's still part of doing business where the consumer should get benefit of that doubt as opposed to finding reasons to disallow.
Unrelated, but what is that DAC/AMP of yours?
