If you want bass buy headphones known for their bass instead of being known for their treble.
Honestly my personal theory is that people don't realise how much bass can be boosted before it actually affects the rest of the signature negatively.
Or they only listened to massively boosted mid bass humps and not the sloping bass tuning.
Oh hey, this post reminded me to get some Ori pads from ZMF november so thanks for that.
I always find it funny that it is well accepted in speakers and car audio that dynamic subs need proper power matching but it's always rejected as a concept in headphones lol

.... why?
Unironically?
Get into vinyl.
Plug the usb-c/optical/coaxial cable from the music source you're using into the modius. USB-C most likely if you're using your phone.
Plug an rca cable into the modius's rca output and plug the other end into the valhalla's rca input.
Plug the headphone jacks into the valhalla's front headphone output.
Done.
Shanling UP4 honestly. I think bluetooth dac/amps are a gamechanger in not having your phone tethered to a cable.
Not even EQ andies like Resolve or DMS would tell you that EQ = every headphone lol.
It's not like I got them all at once haha. If anything I've had my Q5K for over 2 years now. The UP4 I got because I didn't have my q5K at the time and needed something cheap and quick for a trip but ended up really liking it. The UTWS3 was something recent I got to test to see how I would like these TWS where you can put your own IEMs with (I have a galaxy buds 2 pro for more "modern" TWS needs) and the BTR7 I got in anticipation to an IEM which needs a bit more power.
Financial security.
