Nuggets going 80-2....with their two losses coming against us ;)

They are that good.

[–] dlo1580@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’ve missed you guys

[–] PeanutButterOtter@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just give Joker the MVP right now.

[–] c_lo-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Another vintage performance by Top 75 Anthony Davis

[–] thegreaterfool714@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This was like a game 5 sweep of last playoffs if this was best of 9 somehow

[–] Moomoomanbun@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wasn't able to watch. Was LeBron still the best player for the Lakers? Just peeping the box score has me wondering.

[–] HattoriHanzoOG@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

The Lakers are not a playoff caliber team, and it’s going to be a rough, rough season

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They are most definitely a play off calibre team. They're just not on the same level as the Nuggets

[–] runevault@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Lets see them play at least one team that isn't the defending champs before we bury them. I think the Nuggets are going to make some very good teams look bad this year.

[–] HattoriHanzoOG@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They are gonna make a lot of teams look bad, but they made a bad team look even worse tonight unfortunately

That's 5-0 now the super sweep

[–] MrBhyn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Once again, having your 39 player be your best player is not a good idea. And miami role players curse is looking real with Gabe

[–] EveryShot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Womp womp, when our squad has to rely on the 39 year old to carry them, they’ve got no chance in hell. Curious to see if this season starts off like last year after this

[–] redportwood@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

MPJ kept bricking threes

[–] CelestialWarrior-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lakers really thought they was like that, running it back…LMFAOOOO

[–] ereo_enali@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Unibrow only plays Unihalf

[–] ChucoTeacher@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If I’m the Nuggets I treat this game as a loss. The Lakers really figured something out there and gave Jokic a lot of trouble.

The Nuggets are in a precarious situation merely winning 5 straight against the Lakers and the NBA Championship.

[–] LulJerbear@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

AD is so frustrating. He can look like the greatest player alive one half and then become invisible the other

[–] Carne_Asada_Friez@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Was this one of those moral Lakers victories or just a regular loss? Can some Lakers fans let me know, it’s hard to tell the difference.

[–] Middle-Welder3931@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Gets more and more ludicrous every year that AD was voted top 75.

A top 75 player in his prime playing next to Bron doesn't get swept against the Nuggets, stew for an entire offseason, then come back and go scoreless in the second half. I don't care how good his defence looked against the Warriors last year.

[–] aghashayan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You can laugh at this but Jokic can end up being top 3 all time. Perfect basketball player, yay big and really a combo gaurd. Don't take him lightly.

[–] holaprobando123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Kyrie was a part time NBA player, only playing half the games. AD wants to innovate by only playing two quarters per game.

[–] mcgillAHgorilla@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] Meret123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why did they give Rui "Jokic killer" Hachimura only 15 minutes? Should be investigated for match fixing.

[–] Js_On_My_Yeet@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Literally felt like AD was not in the 2nd half lol

[–] GigaChadHenne@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lakers offense can’t function without Lebron. They are simply a bad team if he’s not playing 35+ minutes per game at an elite level

[–] StacheBigote420@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Someone make a meme where Jokic is carrying his child after the championship- but his child is AD

[–] tigerpawx@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jokic too good man , easy triple double … what centers could do that …

[–] ayeno@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Who takes Westbrooks spot as the scapegoat this season?

[–] RockChalk69Hawk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

AD Reaves DLo for Embiid and Harden

You heard it here first

[–] subpulse44@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

AD disappearing in the 2nd half is tragic but it's nothing new. Benching Lebron when they were down 4 cost them any chance of winning unfortunately. Definitely alot of things to work on. Positives are that Lebron looks really good and Taurean Prince looks promising.

[–] jdmflcl@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ready for rdc game 6. Time to put up shots

[–] x20mike07x@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So what does 'volente' (spelling?) that Shaq was chanting mean?

[–] IWouldLikeAName@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jokic kinda owns AD

[–] Enelight@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Casual 29pt triple double shooting >50% from the field

[–] here_for_the_lols@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Needed more from Fudge and Hodge tbh

[–] BillyBean11111@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As soon as Bron sits the entire team can't do anything on either end

[–] DrunkRoach@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Surprised the mods allowed a game thread at all for the Nuggets. Last time they shut the whole sub down

[–] Babybillybonker@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Every single year I hear about how AD is gonna take over and have an MVP like season lmao. Okay. Maybe when Lebron is 45?

[–] MazKhan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lebrons basically 39 and he's still their most impactful player, especially against Denver. Ik it's the regular szn so his minutes are lower, but this team has to do better when he's on the bench

[–] Pikminious_Thrious@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Reddish being +7 just guaranteed him like 20 more games in the main lineup lmao. We're screwed

[–] Mikegetscalls@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Denver won last year with 6 good players

They upped the difficulty now and are gonna try to win with just 5 lol

I respect it

[–] consumergeekaloid@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

6 straight moral victories

[–] cuhman1cuhman2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I aint mad. Just disapointed. Our gaurds were in hell, Ham subbed out Bron while he was cooking, and Ad is a basketball terrorist.

[–] 3s2ng@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So LeBron will still gonna carry this team? Can someone help this old man? SMH

[–] cire1184@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] Recent-Curve7616@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That lakers roster is pretty shit if you really look at it.

[–] SuchSmoke4082@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Its basically the same team with dif role players. A little better. I like the Woods pick up and Prince is good

[–] NefariousNeezy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[insert AD missing poster]

[–] Lach_Zeppelin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That post about the most overrated player got me thinking. It’s Rui. I love the representation for the league but I just don’t see the hype.
