Its like people are Soooooooo fucking close to seeing the reality of our society for what it has become but so many continue to cling to a delusional ideal of American exceptionalism and the integrity of neo liberal western democracy that has for anyone with a functioning brain, ceased to exist since at least the 1980’s or very likely since the mass assassinations of left wing civil rights and political leaders in the 1960’s like maybe the second half of the prompt hasn't become reality yet hut the first half is spot on.
