I think these two teams are the best teams the East has had outside the LeBron teams and the 2019 Raptors.

The East was awful during the Kyrie/Bron/Love era, how would they fare against these teams? Would they struggle or beat them with relative ease?

Current Bucks beat them in 6 but they probably beat Boston in 5

Current bucks? Guy they played 2 games lmao

Lebron > Giannis (

Kyrie = Dame (Debatable but I would put dame slightly ahead of Kyrie tbh)

Rest of the Cavs roster > Bucks roster

Cavs had JR, Shump, Love, TT, RJ.

A Giannis led team isn’t beating a prime LeBron team especially if LeBron takes the assignment to guard Giannis he can’t overpower LeBron and if Giannis can’t overpower you than he turns into Bruno Fernando

Both these teams beat that Cavs team easily, the East was weak during those years, Lebron never faced a team like either of these.

[–] CIark@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah Lebron who played the warriors and spurs never faced a team like these 😂😂😂🤡🤡

I think they’d be competitive, but they’d likely have to move Love to be clearly better than those teams.

Love was always a bad fit and the weak link on the squad.

It would be a pretty close series against either team. Probably take Cavs in 7 against the Cs and Bucks in 7

Is Giannis gonna pull a Zaza and try to injure Kyrie with putting his feet on Kai’s landing zone?

[–] Bouldershoulders12@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think both teams clear . Won’t be easy but it’s just too much firepower for the Cavs to stop. Lebron will dominate but it’s not like he’s facing the raptors or IT Celtics

Both Bucks and Celtics were cleared by Jimmy Butler and washed up Kevin love last year idk what yall smoking😂😂

We’re not talking about last years teams though… they clearly said this year

[–] spritehead@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Surely this is the year that the media are correct that the Celtics are an unstoppable juggernaut

Yes. A Giannis-less Bucks gets destroyed. A LeBron-less 2017 Cavs also get destroyed.

Even when Giannis came back, his back hurt so much he wouldn't sit down.

Bron and ky beat both..

Prime Lebron is better than current Giannis and Tatum

[–] electricHats75@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I’m taking prime Lebron

[–] Enzo2SantosGoal@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Kyrie is a bum but prime LeBron would forever be a problem

[–] restartbenice@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

People saying it’s not close is out of their minds

Prime Bron is way better than Giannis offensively, sure.

But prime Giannis is objectively way better than Bron defensively, and he has literally the perfect tool to slow down a team lead by Kyrie and Bron. Guys who run the same set every fucking play.

It’s close.

People talk about the prime Lebron years as if he never lost a game. Yes Lebron is the best player in each scenario, but basketball is a team sport. The best version of Lebron went 1-3 against an aging Dirk and Duncan.

Team composition matters more than people think. The Cavs were top heavy but aside from 2016, the rest of the squad didn’t show up. It really comes down to which team gets hot. If JR Smith + the rest of the role players play like they did in 2016, it’s a wrap. But if they don’t, I’d expect both the Celtics and Bucks to win.

[–] trevortins@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They beat them both

[–] StormSaniWater@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think the Cavs stomp them
