It's a Hamilton Khaki King. I have this model in the champagne dial. It's a great watch!

For all you with the champagne dial- can you see the hands okay? I really like the watch, but sure about that. Black may be better, but champagne seems more interesting.

[–] jorick92@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lol I have the same. Its my daily.

It’s a king khaki. I just wore mine yesterday. Nice watch. Mine came with a lighter strap. As others have said, no great loss to replace the stock one, they aren’t great.

[–] ramseysleftnut@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The stock ones are terrible, really stiff and uncomfortable. Swapped it out immediately

[–] FluffyWarHampster@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I hate the stock strap on mine as well. the claps had a tendency to jab the inside of my wrist.

Great watch, but I would have picked an Oris over this personally. Sorry for your loss. Wear it with pride.

[–] deadhug@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I love Oris, but frankly the ones he had left weren’t my style. One I remember was a rectangular Frank Sinatra model which I’m not crazy about, and the other one was my eldest brother’s who also passed and I wanted my mother to keep it for herself.

He picked watch that will remind him of his father. And watch that he liked most. Not a watch based on highest resell value

[–] c1garettes@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I’m sure this is a much more common thought than the downvotes would lead you to believe.

[–] Capital_Jacket_8767@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah, I have no idea what I said that caused this backlash. Sorry all, was simply saying I like oris. I own Hamilton too. Wasn't knocking it, but what can you do...

Sorry for your loss OP. I have the same watch and love it, takes up the majority of my wrist time. Here it is pictured on the metal bracelet if that helps in your search for a new band.

[–] Plainbrain867@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How’s the bracelet quality? Thinking about ordering the one made for this watch, but wasn’t an option on the champagne dial

[–] WazzaMatta92@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Personally I’m a big fan. It’s comfortable as well as durable, I have been wearing mine heavily for over a year and would say the bracelet is still in like-new condition. I had seen someone on here who had the champagne dial on the factory bracelet and it looked so good.

[–] Plainbrain867@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Thanks! Yeah I’ve seen it too, inspired me to do the same haha no clue why they don’t offer it for the champagne dial

[–] makinmoneyforbeer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It's the watch Hugh Laurie's character wears in the TV show 'House', if that's of any interest to you.

Khaki King! A beautiful piece. I've been eyeing this particular piece for years but haven't yet pulled the trigger; Hamilton is well known to be a great value for price, they punch above their weight and have a solid company history/reputation. You mentioned elsewhere that you are considering switching up the strap, definitely experiment! Mixing up straps can be a lot of fun.

Natos are fun, and you're also well situated if you want to go to bracelet-town the Hamilton ones are available and will work well with this piece. Wear it well, stranger.

Pretty sure that’s a khaki king II is it not?

[–] sadbot0001@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I can say that Hamilton makes good watches. At the same price point, it offers a better build than tissot.

[–] Big_Life@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It's an excellent watch, in my opinion. I just hiked the whole Appalachian Trail with one of these attached to my wrist.

[–] kamamuta@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It surely is a beauty! Great pairing!

[–] batuckan1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It’s an automatic Hamilton with the a11 watch face. works fine

[–] Uberutang@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hamiltons are great. Nice watch.

The Hamiltonis an excellent choice...Sorry for your loss...

[–] islers86@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Khaki king. I have the beige one. These things are awesome. Only knock is they can be a pain to set date, time and day. But they look great on the wrist.

[–] FluffyWarHampster@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hamilton khaki King. its a great watch and i personally have one. not worth nearly as much as any of the oris watches especially if any of those were something like a big crown pointer date. but the khaki king is a great watch regardless.

buy yourself some flitz polishing compound on amazon and give the crown a polish and that watch will really pop.
