There's a certain level of play where nicknames don't stick around anymore and Wiggins already exceeded that.
Also Wiggins had way cooler nicknames, come on man.
Not to mention there's a whole fanbase that envies his success.
It’s the opposite. Guy can’t score at all and is basically a one way player.

Man this is kind of irrelevant but this reminded me that I’m kinda glad the Warriors are falling off because they are easily collectively the corniest organisation in the league. From Steph’s stupid little dances whenever he makes a layup to Draymond and to just small annoying stuff like this. Yes I’m a hater. To answer your question it’s bc Wiggins sucks ass now
The Heat are pretty corny in my book. This is one of the worst offenses I can think of in recent years.
That’s all on the marketing department, baby. The actual fanbase is too busy eating crow about the roster and praying on the downfall of the Bucks.

Well he gets less shots now because he’s not being shoe-horned into being a top offensive option for the team (that honor goes to Klay)
and Wiggins definitely never had above-average efficiency when he was in Minnesota
I ate crow when he was such a valuable piece of that title team. After watching him in minny for years I just didn’t think he could be a valuable contributor to any serious team. He just didn’t do enough things during a game.
So ya, totally agree this is the Wiggins we saw. Floats around, very few effort plays, still a few highlights from his athleticism but ultimately just doesn’t really seem to care enough to really impact winning.
To all the Warriors fans who thought Wolves cannot develop players - THIS is how he looked before the trade, and that’s why Wolves had to attach 1st round pick to get rid of Wiggins and acquire Dlo. The difference is he was giving you 40 points once in a month and you thought we might have finally unlocked him and win it all.
The wolves have a new owner. So of course they are different now. The previous owner was bad and it permeated through the organisation. Even the warriors were lucky that Larry Ellison did not get ownership of the warriors.

This year, right now Wiggs is playing hard and good defense (Warriors have a top 10 defense) but he can't make a shot.

I hate to burst the Warriors hate bubble but we’re still at the stage of the season where random variation in 3 point shooting matters a lot.
- Klay — 34% on 7.5 attempts
- CP3 — 16% on 3.4 attempts
- Wiggins — 15% on 2.4 attempts
- Kuminga — 18% on 2.2 attempts
They definitely need a legit 2nd option to contend and maybe not all of these guys reach their prior heights but things aren’t gonna stay like this for them.
Because he’s been terrible this year and barely played last year.
