9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

MODERATORS
This not only hurts environment but also the consumer, as they are essentially gutting regulation that made car go further on a gallon of gasoline. This shows really well who they are working for.
This not only hurts environment and the consumer, but also “America first” manufacturers. I’m sure it’s great for shareholders to make more profit in the short term by sticking with older technologies the world is moving on from, but how can you sell that anywhere else? This just helps former global manufacturers lapse into irrelevant obsolescence

Any car maker going along with it is as dumb as a bag of bricks. They know this will all get reversed as soon as the orange sack of shit is out.
Also, I think fuel economy is important to consumers these days. I'd rather have a car getting 50 mpg than 25. Gas is expensive.
Doubtful, unless Congress cycles out a lot of bad apples.
Enough Democrats would probably fight to fix the flaws in CAFE while they're at it and not be able to get the votes to even get back to where we were last year.
Once they’ve done that they can get back to wondering why no other country wants American cars.
so wierd to have agency heads working against the aims of what the agency was created for.
