Obviously, it's still very early in their careers and this could change BUT for fun, how do you think a Re-draft would go?

My list:

  1. Pistons - Scottie Barnes
  2. Rockets - Evan Mobley
  3. Cavaliers - Franz Wagner
  4. Raptors - Cade Cunningham
  5. Magic - Alperen Segun
  6. Thunder - Trey Murphy
  7. Warriors - Josh Giddey
  8. Magic - Jalen Green
  9. Pelicans - Herbert Jones
  10. Hornets - Austin Reaves

I'd love to hear everyone's input, what do you think the trajectory of these players is and what would your list look like?

The top 5 you have listed is interchangable. Scottie and Sengun have very hot starts to the season and could make an argument for number 1 and 2 if they continue playing like how they are but if it was last year they not in contension for the top.

I find it hard for Cade to be going that high over Green.

Jalen Johnson and Cam Thomas in the top 10

I think Jalen Johnson would have to go top 10, Magic maybe would have grabbed him in this redraft instead of Jalen Green.

The only player I can accept ahead of sengun is Barnes everyone else is not on that level. Not going to talk about Jalen because this sub hates him

Don't think this is too far off. If Sengun maintains this level for the full year, I can see him @ 2 or 3.

2021 draft was kinda stacked with starter level players

I'm not as high on Mobley as most are. Hes clearly a great defensive player but a big part of his appeal was his potential to become a great offensive player too. I haven't seen enough from him to be convinced he will continue to develop on that side of the ball.

I think I gotta go with guys like Scottie and Franz who are very good interchangeable defenders and 3 level offensive players as my top 2. Barnes gets the nod because of his hot start to the year. But don't tell Raptors fans I said that because they will spam the sub like they did in 2021

brother, I understand that we're a smaller market, but how do you just skip us completely???

I’m a lot lower on Giddey than you are evidently. He’s got the physical tools, and his playmaking is really good, but he’s such a lacking finisher/shooter that he’s a net offensive negative for a team with a ton of offensive talent like OKC.

On potential I could see a case for him being drafted this high in a redraft, but to this point, he hasn’t been as good as the box score suggests.

The most overrated draft class in recent history. The hype this class has was ridiculous.
