He looked pretty tired most of the game, probably because of the fast paced Pacers game yesterday. Definitely not his best night.

Also, Embiid had to play a lot of minutes with Morris and Bev who were so ungodly bad. The stadium almost collapsed under the gravitational pull of their collective offensive black holes.

It feels weird to defend Embiid. But if being 1 rebound and 3 assists away from a 20 point triple double, on reasonable efficiency and 2 turnovers is a bad enough game to warrant a thread, then this guy is probably pretty damn good

Horford was great, Joel was slow (fresh Joel should just run circles around Horford..second end to the back to back definitely slowed him down), and his lineups were pure ass (who the fuck is shot creating with Pat Bev and Morris on the floor together?!). GG C's

Watch the game, Embiid only had 18 offensive touches. He averages nearly 30. He did fine with the touches he had, but he was a shell of himself in terms of overall impact

Look I am a fucking hater but Joel has been playing like a monster this year. This is still a pretty insane stat line to be saying shit like ‘clamped.’
I mean this in the least derogatory way possible. But there's a mental component/composure to his game that he lacks, and I'm not sure what motivates him.
He was a total non factor tonight. He looked gassed and tired. Hardly posted up. Just really frazzled, and he reminded me of his game 7 performance.
And this is why I find it hard to buy into the "top 3 player in the world" narrative.
There's just something missing. Guys have off nights, but he just seems disengaged at times.
Philly fans, does he still have a fatigue issue? It wouldn't surprise me if he generally took tonight off, so to speak, after a back to back.
Can we stop using raw plus/minus lol. Even if in some cases it might indicate poor performance, it is always a lineup statistic.
