The Sixers have an improved bench but more importantly, hired a way better coach in Nick NUrse to replace Doc Rivers which is probably the most impactful signing this offseason. I won't be surprised if the Sixers reach the Finals this season. All they have to do is preserve Embiid's health until the playoffs start.

I'm surprised this didn't happen during the Lakers Westbrook era. That was the most dehumanizing brand of basketball I have ever witnessed. Never seen a player (Westbrook) actively destroy the team, it's fans and the organization from within.

And yet, reality proves we can go lower than that.

u/HBSBrook, any thoughts?

Imagine if he played in this era.

He'd be treated like how Scoot is treated but worse.

Why didn't Poole play?

[–] UnhingedSupernova@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Bill Russell could be great all he wants.

I would rather have Jokic over Bill Russell on my team.

Anthony Edwards

Chet Holmgren

RJ Barrett (?)

[–] UnhingedSupernova@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Steph at the 1

MJ at the 2

LeBron at the 3

Chet at the 4

Shaq at the 5

That's my all-time lineup.

James Wiseman effect

Will he take his pedo image to the grave if it ever ended on a settlement like how Kobe's Colorado issue ended or would it be different due to how vague the situation is?

This is like Nate Robinson blocking Yao Ming

He's gonna get traded

The 2020 Lakers had McGee and Howard. Didn't stop Jokic but they just kept punching him in the mouth. That's something you need to wear out Jokic. Guys like him, your best defense is getting away with multiple fouls and hope the refs don't call it.

Playstyle wise, Jokic neuters all of AD's best qualities. He removes AD's paint protection and offensively, he's thick and strong enough to be a logjam in front of AD.

Why was Kobe's jersey change iconic?

It seems to me that only Lakers fans think Darvin Ham is a bad coach and isn't getting enough flak from the media or watchers outside of Lakers fans. Non-Lakers fans, is Darvin Ham a bad coach or do the Lakers fans just don't know what they're talking about?

Wemby has the narrative and the fanvote advantage at this point. We're only a few games in but if he puts up at least better stats on better efficiency do you think he'll make it?

On the other hand, what are the chances that Chet Holmgren make the all-star game? OKC is one of the best teams right now and unlike Wemby, Chet has the offensive edge over Wemby with competent rim protection to show for.

What are the chances that one of these unicorns make the all-star game this year?

One started the season as a player equivalent to a scam, hence Scam Reddish but has turned the corner recently. In his last 4 games, he's averaged 15 points, and almost 3 steals shooting 53% from the field and 50% from 3.

Meanwhile, Klay Thompson picked up where he left off last season, being a brick in the 2nd round and continuing to brick his way to China and is one of the reasons why the Warriors are losing.

  1. Who do you think will end up being the better player at the end of the season?

  2. Who would you rather have right now?

Isiah Joe was a sniper tonight and fathered Klay on the offensive end. Source

Anthony Davis doesn't have the consistency to be in the Top 5 conversation outside of the 2020 bubble. He puts up way too much duds in between good to great games. And yes, as much as we like to hate Embiid, Embiid better.

He's been on a killing spree lately averaging 24 points, 10+ assists on crazy efficiency. Do you foresee Tyrese Haliburton surpassing premier point guards today like Trae Young, SGA, Ja Morant, De'Aaron Fox and Jamal Murray? Heck, do you foresee Tyrese Haliburton surpassing someone like Luka Doncic when he finally hits his prime?

Prime LeBron or current Jokic it doesn't matter but based on what you've seen from them throughout their careers because we already have an adequate sample size for Jokic, who do you think is a better passer?

I think it's Jokic but I'd easily change my mind if I hear a really good argument for LeBron.
