I am absolutely loving not having any clue which team is actually the best team in the AFC North. Sucks when players are getting hurt, but the games have been entertaining.

It's always entertaining. It's like the anti-NFC South.

I hate playing against those nasty front 7’s and defenses, but I love watching y’all go at it and just how much you hate one another. Wish the AFC South could be like that

Just keep wearing those throwbacks and we’ll get there

As a Bengals fan, I don't love it--I am losing years off my life man lol

[–] 00812533@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It’s almost as good as the nfc east in 2020.

I hate the AFC North, but I love it

[–] itsgucci060@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yes and I’m gonna love it even more as the weather continues to turn. Falcon fan here and we don’t get to see much of the elements factoring in.

I wonder if you could do an entire We Didn't Start The Flame War for the AFCN this year

I lose years off my life each week

Baltimore is a really good team that is fun to see on my TV. The Bengals are that good team that you're assuming will put it all together so it's kinda fun and kinda not quite there.

The Steelers are confusing.

The Browns are a really good defense with no QB, which Reddit fucking hates (Source: a Bears fan).

It's not my favorite division to watch, but it's competitive.

Best division in football. I feel like theres real rivalries between each team in the division. Do i hate the other 3? Of course. But i also respect them more than most teams in the NFL because of the level of competition between each other. Its always exciting and even when the Steelers arent playing, i watch the other divisional games to see how theyre playing and how their games affect the other teams in the division.

the records are a little deceiving but in the end -assuming no more season-ending injuries to star players- it'll be Baltimore & Cincy.

AFC is loaded with QB talent this year even more than last year; Stroud is a revelation... so happy for DeMeco Ryans.

The afc north is the east cleveland of the nfl

I just wish we were in the days of AFC Central so the Titans could get in on the action too.

It's even better now that massage boy is out, I feel like I can equally root for all teams (dont worry I rooted for pj walker tho)

[–] BendubzGaming@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If they still had Chubb available that would be perfect

[–] ATRDCI@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

For reasons of the Texans having a better pick, I have a vested interest in the Browns losing every game possible.

But for the other three yes I enjoy the quagmire.

I don't even understand the AFC North at this point, its just utter chaos

[–] LuckyColtsFan69@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As an NFL referee, yes I love it!!!!

[–] _binarysynthesis@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

So I’m gonna be that guy in this thread… the ravens are the best team in the afc north. We all know it. But it’s the afc north and anything can happen on any given Sunday 💁‍♂️

[–] Lorjack@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As an outsider I could not care less about the AFCN or who wins it. Its nice that its a competitive division but doesn't effect my team

[–] sfinney2@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The best team is the Ravens just like it was in the first half of 2021 and 2022. The question is will they stay healthy or will they fall off again. They seem to mean business this year though and have the Bengals on the ropes... it's too early to deliver a knockout punch but they will definitely be down for the count going into the 9th inning with a pulled goalie if the Bengals lose tomorrow.

We’re you trying to mix in as many sports metaphors as you can?

[–] curgl@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Absolutely. Wish we had more competent competition outside of the Toots in our division. All 4 teams being a force just makes every week that much more exciting

[–] tgcm26@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Absolutely. Was just saying to my brother (also a Raider fan) the other day how wonderful your division is. Whereas the NFC East often feels like watching a soap opera unfold, the AFC North is the most physical, brutal division where it’s amazing any team makes the postseason at all

[–] JustSlay2@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yes and No.
I like the Bengals and Ravens and am glad they're having good, relevant interesting seasons.
I despise the steelers and Bowns and am unhappy that they've won even 1 of their last 10,000 games.

[–] BleakestStreet@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

You say we have no clue who's the best, but we know fairly well how the teams compare. Steelers are the worst, with the browns fighting for that spot given the qb situation, Ravens are the best with the Bengals picking up steam and very close behind. Sure they'll all drop games to each other, but that's standard division shenanigans.

[–] playoffcomputer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

From strictly being obsessed about playoff races view, it is the best. All four teams realistically in playoff and division contention, compared to the two team races for much of the other divisions.
