There is no confidence because there’s not enough of a sample set to determine anything.

- The Colts ran a very simple pass offense
Is this a good thing? Wouldn't a "very simple pass offense" also be much easier to defend?
Trolls will troll.
Really impossible to take anything remotely seriously when using an incredibly small sample size for a rookie qb and declaring them unable to succeed in the NFL.
Why do so many people rush to label a player a bust? It's been half a season. Watery dune hair, b?
I miss the days where you gave a player at least two years before judging their entire future.
We came back from 23-0 dummy
WATCH THE GAMES
Young is likely a bust, not sure about Richardson.
You are a fucking moron
No
Didn't he only play like 2 and a half games lol
If I were gonna mention only one statistic to summarize a QB’s performance, it would certainly not be completion percentage, like the title has.
I think if I was trying to figure out one number to eyeball whether a rookie’s 4-game season showed any promise (especially accounting for his rushing-heavy style), it would simply be points. Richardson’s offense put up a respectable 24.5 points per game, a bit above average. It was a low-volume pass offense though, and his future remains completely unknown for sure.
He had 4 completion thru 53 minutes of the game
That's not even close to accurate. By the time 5 minutes of the 4th quarter had elapsed (the 50 minute mark), he was 8 of19 with a TD and a two point conversion.
That said, it's wayyyy too soon to answer this question, and his shoulder injury is not a concern.
I don't judge any qb based on rookie completion percentage, a lot of the current top qbs were also bad in their first year
Richardson had flashes of greatness and his passing will continue to improve, I do think he has to try playing in a safer way tho, nfl hits are much worse than college hits
You obviously didn’t watch any Colts games. Go watch the film in the Rams game before he got hurt. Proved he was the guy in that game.
This might be a controversial take, but I personally think he's playing like a rookie.
