A 6ft guard that’s predominantly a shooter averaging almost 10 FTA is disgusting.
Him vs Kyrie yesterday was two opposite ends of the spectrum in ethical hoops.
Now that I watch him every night, I would say it’s wrong to call him primarily a shooter. He drives just as much as he takes long shots.
He does hunt for the 3 point fouls that the league was supposed to phase out. Jumping into defenders.

The refs are screwing over Shai. In the last game that went to OT he only had 2 free throws the whole night. They gave him a great whistle last season (10.9 free throw attempts per game) and have completely swallowed it this year (6.7 FTA/game), despite him still leading the league in drives and taking more shots than last year. It makes you think about what kind of narratives the league wants to push by giving and taking away free throws from certain players.
Zion has taken 4 shots outside the paint all season and shoots 2 less free throws a game than Dame. And I dont even think his whistle has been that bad this year compared to last season.
Fans of ethical hoop have no choice but to root for Boston in the East.
