Seen some commentator on CNN mentioning how these shows shit on republicans all the time. Well, if republicans weren't so shit all the time they wouldn't have to. They could be talking about Britney Spears samurai skills with kitchen knives or talk about Rob Schneider's fish incident from 20 years ago, but instead they have to talk about how shit republicans were, are and will be.

It would also help if they could be more like Craig Ferguson and just focus on having a fun and entertaining show.

The six people that still watch late shows on TV are certainly not the demographic interested in being lectured on before going to bed. The Colbert Report worked because it was more in time with its audience.

I was honestly disappointed when he took that job cause I literally never watch late night shows and I loved Colbert. I hope this means he’ll do something better than a late night show.

As a gen-x person it breaks my heart to admit that the format is meant for a bygone era. They just aren't something people care for today.

Letterman, Conan and Ferguson were the tail end of the format's viability.

The show was a hit, it has plenty of audience.

The issue is that CBS is caving to Fascist 47 after they lost their lawsuit.
