To finally calm down the lil ADHS crab in my head:

If you have an Android phone, search for launcher Mike "Nova Launcher" (its my personal Favorite ) no matter what dumb New phone, with dumb New features i never asked a dumb question about it... My phone looks and feels always like my previous one (besodes the settings under the hood) and i can Export all my settings from my old phone to my New one.

I think I ask myself too many questions about social rules. Such as "why are clothing gendered", or " why do some things belong to one person, and so other people can't take it despite no harm being done", or "why do we obey laws even though we find them unjust".

I still live with my parents. For me, it's the noise. My room is not that well soundproofed and I will hear whatever is going on in the living room. Whenever somebody turns on the TV (and the volume is not fairly low), all my attention span just disappears. When the outside temperature is reasonable, I can at least open my window and let the noise from the street act as white noise, but otherwise I sometimes just have to stop doing whatever I am doing at the time and go watch some youtube videos/play games on my computer, since I can't concentrate well enough on most other activities.

Under just about any situation I am perfectly okay with change, but a few weeks back, we planned a bunch of meals for maybe 1½-2 weeks. Throughout that we kept changing when we'd have meals and even didn't have a few of them. For some reason that made me stressed for pretty much no reason that I could think of.

I had eliminated my periods which was amazing but I'm not allowed to continue that birth control for now and I had forgotten how much my periods sucked and how uncomfortable they were and my little brain is melting down over pads like I'm a teenager and it's my first period again.

Just in case you want advice, I've found that using a custom launcher app solves that problem for me. I spend an hour setting up the interface exactly how I like it, then never change it again. When I get a new phone, I load the launcher settings from the last phone into the new one, and everything looks and feels exactly like I had it before.

I'm having relationship issues. My partner had ADHD and can't stick to appointments. I have autism and can't handle appointment changes. Every time I clear my schedule for her, then to be disappointed as she changes her schedule around. And every time we have limited time when I see her as she lives in a different country, so I need to clear my schedule as she's staying over at my place. She can't understand why it's such a big issue for me, while I understand her struggles. But she fails to meet me in the middle, so she hurts me and me making a point of it hurts her as it truly is an ADHD issue she struggles with while for me it's an autism issue.

I've always had a problem with sounds like chewing and swallowing. I changed my meds recently and it's off the charts right now. My own family is driving me insane.

Technically speaking I am not allowed to work from home. However, because of the wildfire smoke being so bad this year and because I have such sensitive asthma, on smoky days I am allowed to work from home. This is throwing off my schedule and routine so badly.

I had to fight a near anxiety attack so I could go spend time with someone I really like. Almost just made an excuse to cancel, even though I've been wanting to see him for a week.

I told a friend i need to cancel our bicycle trip, because i don't feel very well currently. He was really pissed and said i was ruining his sunday. I tried to make him understand, that i need that time for me and he told me i have to go outside and don't linger around on my coucblh to get better. Thx bro for being a dick

My dislike of change seems to manifest as getting emotionally hurt when I lose access to things I usually fall back and rely on. Or am told I can't do something because of unjust rules.

The past few years of being a chronically online person have been though...

I get very obsessed about understanding what people are thinking so lately I've been asking a lot of questions which makes me annoyed because it makes me so want to ask what they think about that or if it's annoying

give me those weird neurotypical powers where you can just decipher expressions and be like "yep that's good enough"

I have massive amounts of trouble taking notes while working on the computer, so I have to essentially do the work twice in order to get useful notes recorded for the company I'm working for. Why am I like this

I hate them too, so I changed my UI to an open source one. More stable and predictable, less trying to find stuff after they've been changed for god knows why.

I still don't know how to do that with settings, though it would be a blessing
