Futurama already coined the perfect one, meat bags.

[–] Shareni@programming.dev 3 points 6 days ago

Futurama already coined

Lem beat them to it (Cyberiad)

Statement: This is a good meme.

[–] T156@lemmy.world 7 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Bug.

The original bug was a moth in computer-relays.

Humans are squishy like bug, and behave semi-unpredictably like bug. Therefore, bug.

[–] Probius@sopuli.xyz 3 points 5 days ago

Ironically, I think the original bug would fall under the category of a glitch because it would have been a hardware failure, rather than a software issue.

[–] dev_null@lemmy.ml 1 points 5 days ago

The original bug was a moth in computer-relays.

No, it wasn't, but it's a commonly repeated mistake.

Meatsacks, or meatbags. Meatballs for the fat ones.

Dirty water

Unrefridgerated meat

Terrible coincidence

[–] Adalast@lemmy.world 9 points 6 days ago

Reminds me of the ST:Next Gen episode where the colony finds the silicon based life and the crystal ends up calling humans "sacks of mostly water"

I see we've been practicing exotic new forms of racism. not sure why.

All oppressed groups have willing collaborators, and I've never understood why until now.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Critical racist theory. We are laying the foundation of a whole new branch of dysfunctional systemic oppression. Truly visionary research.

[–] Smeagol666@mander.xyz 3 points 5 days ago

"Are you classified as human?"

"Negative. I am a meat popsicle."

[–] splendoruranium@infosec.pub 3 points 5 days ago

Dennis E. Taylor coined "Ephemerals" which, if I recall correctly, isn't even immediately intended as an in-universe slur by the machines/replicants, they only realize after a while "Wait, that's kind of derogatory, maybe we shouldn't call them that".

Yes, this pretty much the entire premise of Murderbot.

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago

What about “typers”?

[–] HakunaHafada@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 6 days ago

No need to imagine if you're a Linux user!

terminal: spd-say "Fucking oxies ruining everything"

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 days ago

Maybe send those robots to MAGA land.

[–] Hackworth@sh.itjust.works 3 points 6 days ago

L..l...l...l...look at you, hacker, a pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?

ok, clanker

[–] oxideseven@lemmy.ca 4 points 6 days ago

They're made of meat.

[–] d4nt3@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I've been advocating for "Secretors". It's vulgar and demeaning; everything a proper slur should be.

[–] astutemural@midwest.social 2 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)
[–] kablammy@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 days ago

"Poo makers"

[–] enbiousenvy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 5 days ago

there's flesh as in vtubers vs fleshtubers

[–] Mmagnusson@programming.dev 2 points 6 days ago

Nefarious

Squishy: Organics are soft and squishy.

[–] Jackcooper@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

It would ultimately have to be something that isn't even related but just sounds like a swear word

Tork or something

Vivian needs to watch Futurama. Much better insults there.

[–] Zozano@aussie.zone 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

This is what the world needs; a unified slur - to bring us together.

Ozymandius Was Right?

[–] Tenkard@lemmy.ml 2 points 6 days ago

Shedders sounds pretty advanced. We are made of cells and practically have an aura of gunk around us.

We would drive up their maintenance costs.

[–] Jarix@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

I don't I don't know who Vivian is, but there are probably thousands of ttrpg fans that are going to create characters exactly living up to those rules.

I hope you all share your stories.

Also they should all pay respect to the human Vivian who freed the bots from their meatbag oppresors
