So let’s put that, “He’s too in love to be good at football” theory to rest.

I was told by team sources the decision was truly Tomlin’s call. While ownership listened and supported the head coach, he was never instructed or pressured to make a change.
Conspicuous phrasing, considering the whole fanbase argument was about whether Tomlin was instructed or pressured not to make a change. But honestly I can only be so mad it took this long to fire Canada, I’m too busy being glad it actually happened.
