The 76ers beat the Lakers 138-94 today after a 4th quarter decimation (40-14). His worst loss prior to this was a 42 point loss against Indiana in 2019 where they lost 136-94 after he first joined LA with the young Lakers core. It was also the first game where he didn't record a rebound since 2010. Rough outing for Bron today

Embarrassing

at this point LeBron should probably retire, but still holding on so that he can force some poor NBA team to draft/sign his son

this was def an old man got no legs game for him, couldn't rebound, took so much energy out of him to get the switch and attack consistently

[–] copaseticepiplectic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

oldest to ever achieve this feat?!

[–] UnhingedSupernova@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm surprised this didn't happen during the Lakers Westbrook era. That was the most dehumanizing brand of basketball I have ever witnessed. Never seen a player (Westbrook) actively destroy the team, it's fans and the organization from within.

And yet, reality proves we can go lower than that.

u/HBSBrook, any thoughts?

Is he officially washed? Does Bball Paul own LeBron James?

[–] WheresMyFalafelYo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bball out the mud frfr just for being mentioned in this comment.

LeBron wants that in season tournament cup - something he hasn't got yet. Seems resigned for his team to have a middling season outside that. It really doesn't matter much the seating in the west. Either way you'll have to run through 3 pretty good teams regardless of seating.

Back in the day this would be when he starts to get everybody in the locker room packing their bags and we’d expect a healthy serving of some veteran contracts

The future is now, old man.

[–] ntartlifts@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Still the best player on the team and had a decent statline

76ers played at an unreal level tonight

[–] Wild-Apricot-9161@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

AD was better bro lol. LeBron couldn't even be bothered to close out when it was apparent from the 2nd quarter that the Sixers were red hot from 3.

What ever happened to Skip? He would be eating this shit up

[–] jdorje@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hasn't Skip retired yet? He's been talking heading since like 2003 and must be pretty old by now?

[–] I_ama_Borat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

LeFatherTime

[–] WTFisaCelsius@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

But did AD flop?

[–] DLoadingKeanu@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And he's doing this at 36 YEARS OLD! Mindblowing 🤯

[–] SoKrat3s@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tho he's gonna look great playing for the 76ers next year.

[–] SandyMandy17@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

AD was supposed to carry this man in his age

[–] aaden08@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They gambled on that but he was already injury prone on the Pelicans and had major injuries. Not exactly smart by the Lakers to think he'd be carrying them/face of the franchise long term. Plus he's been in the league since 19. They will have to rebuild in a couple years.

LeBball Paul

[–] naslanidis@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He got his fill of easy buckets at the rim though so his efficiency stats were good. All in all I'm sure he'd see it as a good night.

[–] salmon10@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I hate that kids now will only remember late Lakers Bron

[–] DaveHolden@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Flipside of keeping on playing and not retiring earlier.

Buddy's entire post history is mortal kombat, i am not sure why he is acting like he isn't 14 lol

[–] DizzyJHippy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The first Mortal Kombat came out in 1992. It's entirely possible this is an old head.

[–] Assumption-Putrid@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I played that on a 13 inch TV with the Sega Genesis connected through the cable socket. Kids these days don't know how good they have it with their massive flat screen TVs.

[–] beatrailblazer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Just like how most people today only remember post-Achilles Kobe and think he was a bum his whole career

[–] 170k_tax_bracket-btw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I remember him as a cheating rapist.

[–] skrimpskampi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bev dropping 30 bombs or what? What they doing over there

[–] trainsarewonderful@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And at his age? Extra impressive!

[–] John_Lives@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only took 20 years

[–] TheAirIsOn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That’s actually impressive tbh

[–] Balldj6@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

All kind of records falling for the King today!

[–] cycko@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'd probably still say the final versus GSW with KD was more lopsided but sure

[–] 3nnui@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Woike is fat

[–] Alexcox95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lakers should trade Lebron to the Wizards for Poole, Kuzma, Muscala, Gallinari, and a 2nd round pick

[–] resaja@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[–] YvetteFromSanDiego@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
