he's so real for this
He apologized to Drummond in his presser😂😭. Joe is pure
Psycho Joe doin his thing
I'm conflicted about this. I like that we see the stars play a full game and makes these blowouts more meaningful, but it still feels disrespectful to your opponent. I don't blame Joe or the Celtics as the way this IST was setup, you have to do these things, it's just a hard situation to be in.
Boston’s IST court is dope.
“It’s all about respecting the game and respecting your opponents”
Huh, for some reason, I thought Andre Drummond was out of the league.
Good for him.
I know that Joe is a psychopath, but his comments about how he coaches the same for his 2nd string guys turned me on. I'd storm Normandy for Joe if he used a challenge for me as a 2nd string idiot, in garbage time
I love the IST
Mozzarella looks like a robot when he speaks
I don’t see Mazulla getting a second head coaching job when he is let go someday.
Boston NEEDED to run up the score to ensure they won their group. Second time the Bulls have been salty about the point differential in an IST game. Play better and you won't be in this situation.
It's a deflection for far bigger issues.
Important note because it's not in the title: Celtics need a huge jump in point differential (and a Nets win) to make the IST bracket.
I guess one thing that's kind of cool about the in season tournament is that it incentivizes playing hard until the end of the 4th even if you're blowing a team out.
I hope a team does something super disrespectful at the end of one of these games and is like "Hey, we needed the points for the differential!"
I still don't understand this tournament nor do I care.
And they pulled it off too
Altho being Joe, he's definitely crazy enough to do this in a normal game. Man gives no fucks.
This shit has sold me on the IST.
Also please post the Hauser putback.
Joe only cares about rules he can read
kind of a moral quandary, trying to have dignity yet win
Lol at Mazzula basically telling Donovan to screw off
Point differential is important in The in season tournament so this makes sense.
I was confused cause Drummond, bad as he is, is still not really bad enough to make hack-a-Drummond worth it relative to a normal Bulls halfcourt possession. Then I saw him 1-6 and tonight, so hack away I guess.
Shit like this and the Booker garbage 3. Make the courts better and I'm 100% sold
agreed. Don’t mind a lil color to differentiate but the full court color is too much
Honestly I respect it. It was bold and its just kind of nice to see some weird shit
some of the court colors are physically hard to watch on TV though. the full court bright blue and full court bright red legitimately felt like a strain on my eyes
I respect them going out on a limb to try new stuff but this is a miss (imo)
The color seems pretty cool to me, I don't see the harm. If the quality of the surface is off though, as has been suggested by some of the players (could be guy making excuses though, who knows) then that would be a problem needs to be fixed.
I don't see the harm.
some of them literally make my eyes hurt
The courts make it hard to watch but i really like the idea of a special court dor the ist. I didnt even realize in earlier games they were ist until i saw the court
The courts that just had the middle line/paint area a different color and the sides looking like wood looked pretty good. The ones where the sides were super-gaudy colors...didn't.
Chicago deserve all of this
this is ruthless lmao
Honestly, I love this. These guys are wilding in NOVEMBER.
Kind of feel bad for Drummond
peak nba
Haha why wtf

In season tournament having point differential is really making some Blowout games interesting.
The point differential honestly sold me on the IST. It’s still gimmicky af, but if it gets teams to play even a smidge harder then I’m with it
I think you really noticed it in the Dubs/Kings game. Dubs needed to win by 12 to advance. And they were playing completely differently in the last couple minutes of the game, with a lead, than they otherwise would, because you could tell they were trying to pad their lead...and instead of running clock, they had quick empty possessions and the Kings came back and won.
They gotta build that point differential for the Cup ;-)
And it worked
dear diary:
as a former chicago bulls fan, good! fuck this franchise. i like watching decent basketball and after a while i knew the bulls would never deliver me that. they deserve to get undressed. they should beg for the sweet release of a mercy rule like some intramural flag football team. unserious franchise that should tear everything down to the studs, but i know they won't.
