The guy literally only remembers the last conversation he had.

Person, woman, man, camera, TV

I guess Mamdani gave Trump some gift and told him that his penis wasn't small.

[–] Fourth@mander.xyz 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You have posted that line a lot

[–] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 day ago

Oh well it's probably true.

Nah, he's apparently just THAT charming and eloquent! 🤷

[–] Yawweee877h444@lemmy.world 37 points 3 days ago (2 children)

This is fun.

Trump praising a self described socialist. A Muslim socialist at that.

I can feel the power of the reeeeee screeching of the still devoted MAGA cultists. Hook it to my veins.

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 27 points 3 days ago

They’re trying to pretend Mamdani “bent the knee” and that we’re “all mad at him”

Tanks of copium going empty tonight

Trump was praising the Soviets in the 80s.

Well of course. He was a Russian Asset "Krasnov", and had tens of millions of dollars in loans from them. And he's always been open about admiring Putin.

[–] altkey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 days ago

Not to forget about sex services and human traffic from ex-soviet states. His wife Melania is a slovenian model that happened to imigrate to the US. When soviet empire collapsed, a lot of young women wished to leave it whatever the cost is.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 days ago

The loans were from the Russian mafia state after the collapse of the communist state.

So, what, did he reveal to Mamdani all the kompromat they have on him and get him to kiss the ring during their meeting?

[–] IronBird@lemmy.world 45 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (2 children)

opposite, mamdani played these idiots like a fiddle

basically just wore a bunch of tacky gold rings and shit and made very thinly veiled jokes with trump as the joke, which trump is too far gone mentally to grasp while distracted by shiny gold jewelry.

in return, trump says he's great...days/weeks after calling him the communist antichrist to his cult followers, even the most die hard maga could struggle to perform the required mental gymnastics to accept this. and every chip in that wall is a good thing.

MAGA has been praising Mamdani for weeks. It's along the lines of "his policies are wack but at least he talks about the relevant issues and isn't anyone's female dog, oh and also fuck Israel"

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 16 points 3 days ago (2 children)

You can say "bitch" on the internet. Also in the real world.

[–] _Nico198X_@europe.pub 8 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

i often see it removed for some reason. it was removed in your post, for example.

[–] limelight79@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Some instances have block lists for certain words.

[–] renzhexiangjiao@piefed.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Because the admins are censorious bastards? 🤷

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Huh, this is the first I've heard of that behavior.

[–] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

Neat, it must happen on the readers instance rather than the commenter's. The word is visible to me.

[–] mirshafie@europe.pub 5 points 2 days ago

Maybe it's just my client but I see a lot of words censored. The word I originally wrote was removed, so naturally I went back and edited it. New to Lemmy so not sure how this works.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

even the most die hard maga could struggle to perform the required mental gymnastics to accept this

I wouldn't bet on that.

[–] Fedizen@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

They'll be bewildered for a few days while the the mental gymnasts in their brain pivots into its new position.
