There was a recent news item about an owner of many francises dropping all their stores, and pulling out of several states... probably an aftershock of that.
They've been slowly closing stores for years. Something like 50 stores closed in 2025.

Why does a roast beef fast food place get so much more hate than the greasy burger places?
Idk. I actually enjoy Arby's. I fuck up some half pound beef n cheddars. And since they bring the potato cakes back, I get those every time I go.
They better not have.
If the only thing you have gotten or known about is the basic-ass roast beef sandwich: Try something else. The brisket is good (I mean, for fast food). So are the curly fries.
And for the love of god, don't smother it in the Arby's sauce. Was told that it's what makes the food, but boy is it awful. The Horsey Sauce is okay, but if you are a horseradish fan, you probably have better shit at home.
