Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

This rhymes if you are Australian.
Snacks are fine, you just have to eat the right ones.
I can eat apples till I feel sick and they are pretty filling.
Or celery with peanut butter if you want protein.
That said I'm a food is fuel person and a heavy caffeine user so maybe I'm not the person to be giving advice.
You should be aware that peanut butter is not a great source of protein and especially not light on calories. A tablespoon a day is probably fine but slapping it willy nilly on apples without measuring puts it squarely in junk food territory.
Clearly you can't be trusted. You eat celery.
Celery is just a peanut butter delivery system. It even reaches to the bottom of the jar as you start to run out
Honestly, it's a step up from "food is optional as long as I'm not heavily nauseous" so any advice is welcome to me at this point
Yep. Intermittent fasting is easy but all weight loss is hard. I lost like 40 pounds in less than a year, and then my body rebelled and beat up my brain with a shotgun. Gained it all back over the next two years.
my body rebelled
Didn’t know they could do that
Check out the article cRazi_man linked.
Our brains have a lot less control than we like to think, unfortunately. And the reasons weight loss is difficult are numerous. It’s not dissimilar to addiction, in that overcoming it can be easy for some people but incredibly difficult for others. And unfortunately those for whom it is easy don’t realize how good they have it.
It's so frustrating. Stupid human bodies and brains and stupid food made to be super delicious and stuff. I wish I could just go "no thanks!" But it's a nightmare. I keep trying though. Gotta try.
Yep! Never stop trying. I’m like 75% on the horse again, sloooooowly losing weight this time.
In the winter when the sun might set at 4:30 pm, it's pretty ridiculous to try to stop eating before sundown.
And also the summer when it sets late. This rule ridiculous.
I used to work in restaurants in my teens and 20s (and most of my 30s) and to me dinner time is permanently set to after 10 pm, after dinner service has ended.
How wrong would it have been to give the tongue a lisp?
My zero discrimination self says no, but my sense of humour says yes.
That's how the trazodone I take to sleep is. It's pretty similar to eating way too many edibles, but without the violently too high part.
Should have fired a warning shot into Stomach.
