I'd bet anything its because the costume acts like blinders and keeps her vision from straying from directly ahead. Goats are prey animals, hence their side mounted wide angle lenses. Her visual field is cut more than in half by the costume.
I'd be less anxious too if I saw the whole world as a threat and was blinded to 60% of it.
