Aw, I was hoping for less than $50k. That's still pretty expensive!

Plus, they probably don't even come with payloads, so that will add additional cost.

Fill it with white powder and the reaction will cause more damage than a bomb would have caused.

Honestly, one high-profile incident like that would probably be enough to get civilian ownership of drones banned across the country.

we have no rights, only temporary privileges. land of the free, my ass.

Can you imagine the panic a consumer drone would cause if it flew over the White House and dropped baking soda on it.

A drone listing is described in the seller's catalogue as a "cruise missile" able to carry a 2kg warhead 30km

If you're lucky, it'll carry a 0.5kg warhead 10km. That's assuming they don't ship it with any missing pieces.

The FBI would be all over this shit.

Hm? They can carry 100x as much payload over more than 10x that distance.

I went to Alibaba to look around and holy shit searching is so ass and takes so long because of the "AI". hahaha

$96US to build a 3D printed Stinger shoulder launched missile and now mail ordered drones. Things aren’t looking good.

Open source guided missiles are a good thing in some ways. We, as civilians, need defenses against drones.

You don't need a 3d printer either, there are products you can use, from old propane cannisters, to metal pipes, as the rocket body.

can't wait for a rich broccoli head YouTuber buying one for a shitty video

How many Trump diapers can it carry as a payload?

[–] sirboozebum@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Not enough for Trump

[–] db2@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

How much literal shit do you think it could carry to Pennsylvania Ave? Asking for a friend.
