my own personal interpretations based entirely on vibes are as follows

asshole: someone who is intentionally hurtful to others for their own personal gain

jackass: an asshole who is, additionally, reckless

dickhead: a jackass who is, additionally, stupid

my own personal interpretations based entirely on vibes are as follows

asshole: the anatomical opening at the end of the digestive tract, commonly known as the anus in human biology.

jackass: a male donkey belonging to the equine family, often characterized by long ears and a stubborn temperament.

dickhead: the upper part of the penis, specifically referring to the glans or head of the male reproductive organ.

So basically all just different anatomy and a donkey.

I would flip jackass and dickhead around. A dickhead does not have to be stupid, but is more reckless than an asshole. And a jackass can be intentionally a jackass, but most of the time is just an idiot.

Also, an asshole is more clearly intentional/malicious, whereas a dickhead could be oblivious or unacceptably inconsiderate.

Interesting. I wonder if that changes regionally.

I agree with this except dickhead to me is someone who is rude for no reason and that’s it.

Asshole is just like everyone else is saying. Just toxic, rude and selfish.

A jackass is embarrassing himself. Maybe had too much to drink, is convinced the waitress appreciates his sexual absences, or tells a dirty joke in front of your grandma.

A dickhead loves to gloat. There is an I in his team. He will not let you forget your mistakes, and loves to rub it in whenever he's done one better than you.

And asshole is mean. A jackass is stupid. A dickhead is mean and stupid.

An asshole is often a deliverer of pure toxin where ever they roam, a jackass is one burdened with delivering unpleasant but often necessary information which is poorly received since they lack diplomatic skills, and a dick head is someone who forces their presence and opinions unnecessarily into situations and places where they are unwelcome.

No difference, they mean whatever I need them to mean when I choose to use them. Its weird how language can convey different meanings depending on the context to the point where the word itself doesnt really matter.

Jackass is only really used by Americans

You've clearly never watched Corner Gas.

I think it's funny how other definitions are different from mine, but I wouldn't disagree with any of the others. Even if it doesn't match my definition, yeah, that guy's a dickhead.

An asshole knows she's behaving in an antisocial manner and takes joy in it.

A jackass just hasn't thought her actions through; her harm stems from neglect rather than malice.

A dickhead is someone who obstructs or antagonizes others; her harm comes from creating barriers or obstacles or otherwise preventing good results for others.

Asshole: Someone who is rude, selfish, or both. Basically a stronger version of jerk.

Jackass: Someone who is careless or stupid but not rude or selfish. I never call anyone a jackass, but I almost exclusively see it as a term used to deride someone you’re familiar or friendly with for being mischievous or careless.

Dickhead: Someone who is careless or stupid as well as rude or selfish. All dickheads are assholes, but not all asshole are dickheads.

Those are just synonyms with the same meaning.
