She loved the magic massage man (the "chiro")and fell asleep while he and I were chatting after she was finished.

There was no quackery. He literally just helped her stretch really well and massaged the knots out of her muscles so she could move better. No joint popping or nothin crazy. I watched him treat two other horses to make sure he wasn't full of shit before I let him touch Sandy.

It is! I was worried she'd fight him, but once she realized he was helping, she was all into it.

Will this need to become a regular thing or is it a one time fix?

Hoping it's a one-time fix, but we have to get an exercise regimen together with small near-daily workouts so she can build muscle. She's finally got the weight, now she just need the muscles to carry it properly.

I'm really glad the barn has a covered roundpen! It'll make working on rainy days a thing lol.

That's good. I was concerned this was going to become a repeat thing like so much health procedures are.

She can still have things get outta place, so there may be a need for treatment in the future, but she is very sound and sturdy for her age, so she should be good to go as long as I stick with exercising her.
