Late to the party, but A Triple Six Turtle Christmas is new to everyone I show in real life, and it’s always a hit. I can watch it forever.

FUTUREMMERCIALS is criminally underrated, as is everything Davyforce does. He’s one of my favorite artists; I wish the world noticed him more. I love my copy of Not4Sale: TV Sheriff and the Trailbuddies soooooo much.

I mean, possibly something musical.. And I know a lot of humorous stuff regarding rpg and songs, there's a whole slew I could name but you asked for one.

Then it's perception check.

Hard to choose but probably the voyage of the damned of the 2nd Pacific Fleet. The most I have laughed during a documentary. It has everything,whores,aligahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Mdi_Fh9_Ag&list=PLI8b91hMs6oK9VpOjIMJD6vnkh3u9tnIA&index=123&t=3stors%2Cdrugs%2Clots of drugs,a cult, suicides and a whole lot more. I am not particularly interested in naval history but this story is so insane nobody would believe it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Mdi_Fh9_Ag&list=PLI8b91hMs6oK9VpOjIMJD6vnkh3u9tnIA&index=123&t=3s

I love this video of the drummer from Ok Go in a staring contest. Bonus points for Zach Galifanakis just chilling in the background.

[–] kindnesskills@literature.cafe 1 points 2 days ago

Pretty much any featuring a throughhike with a good enough camera and a mixture of long silent/un-narrated nature shots and calm voiceover listing both facts aboit the trail and the emotional aspect of the experience.

I can do other stuff with it in the background, and it calms me, without having the urge to rewind constant because I missed something like a regular documentary can.

Folding Ideas - In Search of a Flat Earth https://youtu.be/JTfhYyTuT44

It was the first Folding Ideas video I watched. The pivot from the technical portion to the social commentary portion is masterful.

Tap for spoilerIt really dug into the corrosive nature of online conspiracy theory in an impactful and approachable way. I'm not sure if the video itself is more or less relevant than it was at the time of its release, since QAnon integrated with the mainstream MAGA movement not too much later and is maybe now starting to fracture back out again under pressure from the Trump administration's failure to meaningfully address the Epstein files.

Still worth a watch either way.

I'd recommend watching it on a large screen to get the full impact from the Lake Minnewanka experiment. It is very striking.

Just a silly music video, but something that has managed to bury itself deep inside my head, to be brought up again and again as intrusive thoughts on a daily basis.
