White is a bloat colour, it takes more energy for your monitor to display white than any other colour since white is all parts of the LED on.

I know this is funny and I had a laugh but modern led displays have brightness zones and can dim backlighting in dark areas. so a big bright image also uses more power than a dark image on them as well. I know, fun party facts π
