I'm all for this.

I want to see Trump try to stand in front of lights and stage for an extended period of time. His dementia, incontinence and physical frailty will be exposed to all. Maybe a major stroke light will be on the cards as well.

In 1976, up in Canada, as a young lad, I thought..."Geez, imagine how big the birthday party in america will be for it's 250th birthday". What a very sad thing that has happened to that once great nation.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 3 points 5 hours ago

So the only artist he could get was Leni Riefenstahl?

[–] mavu@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I always read "Trump floats..." yet, i have seen no proof. We should try and see. Maybe he will in fact sink, would solve a lot of problems.

[–] TwodogsFighting@lemdro.id 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

The fish of this world do not deserve such a fate.

[–] mavu@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Good point. Need to do it in a contained water reservoir that can be decontaminated later.

[–] TwodogsFighting@lemdro.id 1 points 2 hours ago

I was thinking more something along the lines of the dip from Roger Rabbit.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 20 points 1 day ago

It's sad that this is happening but at least it'll represent what america has become after a good quick 250 year run.

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

trump floats

Yeah, turds usually do

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

That's a sign that there's too much fat in your poop. Might be worth thinking about.

[–] cheers_queers@lemmy.zip 1 points 15 hours ago

maybe my poop doesnt want to be on a diet, you dont know her

[–] chilldrivenspade@lemmy.world 105 points 1 day ago (4 children)

there’s only one thing that could happen on july 4 that i think would perfectly capture the founders’ intent for independence from tyranny….it would be so poetic if it happened

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 40 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The tree of liberty and what not

[–] fartographer@lemmy.world 4 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I lost all faith in the tree of liberty when it failed to finish the job with a famous Texas pissbaby

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)
[–] MunkyNutts@lemmy.world 4 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

The one the tree fell on, but didn't get the job done.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

Ahh there are just so many Texas pissbabies it's hard to be sure

[–] rockSlayer@lemmy.blahaj.zone 25 points 1 day ago

I too have a vague concept in mind for liberating us from tyranny. It's truly glorious. Sic Semper Tyrannis

[–] backalleycoyote@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago

“Oh no, the launch pad for the fireworks finale was set up horizontally instead of vertically!”

Happy Birthday America! 🇺🇸🦅🧨🫡

Yep. I’m okay with this. I don’t want him celebrating the 250th. I want him telling his supporters they’re stupid for thinking gas prices are high.

They signed up in the first place. Not sure what that says about them.

[–] MrEff@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

While vanilla ice and kid rock have attached themselves to MAGA, several other artists were mislead on the 'America 250' banner for the actual 'Freedom 250' group. There is another fun rabbit hole of corruption and money laundering to look into if you have not yet been informed...

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago

This administration is just one giant thieving grift.

[–] _skj@lemmy.world 9 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

They signed up to perform at a non-partisan celebration of their country's 250th anniversary. They backed out once Trump started attaching his name to the event and making it clear he wanted it to be a big rally

I had to read some of the comments on Fox News. Fucking disgusting MAGA shits and the artists that withdrew are 100% correct. 250 years and they're proud of WTF is occurring in the USA. The fucking Nazis celebrated, with pomp and propaganda, their 10th year in power on Jan 30, 1943. On that very fucking day, the German Army was getting mauled at the Battles of Stalingrad and Rzhev, because of the piss poor Nazi leadership.

[–] monkeyslikebananas2@lemmy.world 4 points 23 hours ago

Don’t forget that there is a certain percentage of the comments online that are bots.

There are indeed horrible people but don’t take online comments seriously. And for your mental health I suggest you don’t read anything fox news.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago (2 children)

FYI there is a planned no kings protest scheduled for June 14th (Donny’s birthday) let’s make this pedos birthday a day to remember.

[–] WraithGear@lemmy.world 2 points 17 hours ago

do they have demands, and threaten to continue the protest beyond a single day if not met?

[–] P1k1e@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

It's very sad that my girl shares a birthday with this clown

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 1 points 11 hours ago

So does my dad

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Make it extra special for your girl. It’s her day not Donny’s.

I wish his dad had pulled out.

[–] FenrirIII@lemmy.world 7 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

His dad was a huge piece of shit too. I wish Trump's grandfather had pulled out

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 4 points 16 hours ago (1 children)
[–] gnate@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago

And a brothel owner

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They signed up these artists for the nation's birthday celebration, and were uninformed enough not to realize that it's a ruse to celebrate the president's birthday, and that this was political, and would forever tar them in association with the biggest piece of shit in the world (as measured by character.)

So good for them for pulling out. It's way better they signed up, then publicly pulled out. We should have every artist do that, except wait until the last minute, then be like, oh, I didn't know the president or party was involved, sorry. Leave them publicly humiliated without their entertainment.

Looking at you UFC.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 10 points 1 day ago

Yeah Dana White has always been a huge piece of shit. Don't expect him to do anything. Now if the fighters were to drop out last minute, that would be interesting. But again, the majority are idiots who support this bad spray tan in a suit.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 47 points 1 day ago

He already did...

Thered been a non partisan commission planning this for like a decade, trump fired them and put maga in charge.

People quit because of that, so now they're saying they're gonna do the thing theybalreadyndid that caused the problem.

They're handling this just like the Strait of Hormuz

[–] Adderbox76@lemmy.ca 20 points 1 day ago (2 children)

In a decade of truly insane rants, this was probably his most insane.

"I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate 'Artists'."

What in the absolute fuck is there left to say at this point?

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 day ago

Nah, this is not even top 10, it's a monday.

Please do this and have a shitload of flashing lights, and let it be 95+ outside, then let his brain cook itself while he rambles on, only like a dementia riddled pedo can.

[–] humanamerican@lemmy.zip 25 points 1 day ago (3 children)

I started reading the article comments. Boy was that a mistake.

[–] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 14 hours ago

I really liked the one where the guy blamed the mainstream media... Via a comment on the fox news site. These motherfuckers couldn't self reflect in a room full of mirrors.

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 36 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You have to wonder how many are bots or Russian at this point.
